EVENTS NEWSLETTER

As Term 3 draws to a close, our students are finishing strong with a busy and action-packed final few weeks. From sporting finals and exam preparations for our Year 12 students, to more primary camps, it's been an exciting and eventful time across the school.

Last week, our Year 2 students had an unforgettable experience at their annual camp. The day was filled with new challenges and team-building activities, culminating in the traditional campout on Jabulani Oval.

This week, Prep students explored Chambers Island during their annual camp. From boat rides and fishing to building shelters and observing marine life with Ocean Life Education, the students embraced each experience with curiosity, accompanied by our friendly pirates.

A passionate group of students also attended the Kids in Action Conference, where they engaged in thoughtful discussions and developed ideas focused on sustainability, environmental awareness and community action.

Sporting highlights will continue over the holidays, with many teams participating in high-level competitions:

  • The Senior boys basketball team is competing in the CBSQ Basketball Open Championships on the Gold Coast.
  • Open & Middle Boys and Girls teams are competing in the All Schools' Water Polo Queensland tournament. This is the largest year of the competition, with over 45 teams and more than 450 athletes.
  • U16 & U18 Boys and Girls teams are competing in the All Schools' Queensland Rugby 7's tournament, a prestigious event with a 15 year history that features over 80 teams.
  • Four students are competing for Equestrian Queensland in the 2025 Australian Interschool Equestrian Championships, held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.

We wish all students the best of luck in their respective competitions and look forward to celebrating their achievements.

Whether in leadership, sports, or community involvement, it is inspiring to see our students excel in so many different areas.

We wish all of our Grammar families a wonderful and restful break and look forward to welcoming you back on campus for Term 4 on Tuesday, 7 October
