EVENTS NEWSLETTER
This week was filled with action, creativity, and connection, as students participated in numerous sport and art activities.
Primary and Secondary students competed in the District Athletics carnivals at UniSC and achieved impressive results. Congratulations to all the students!
Drama and music students also took to the stage at the Sunshine Coast Junior Eisteddfod. Congratulations on your performances and best of luck to those continuing over the weekend.
Auditions for the 2026 musical continued this week and the talent has been impressive. Congratulations to all students – we are excited for the first rehearsal in the coming weeks! For more information about our upcoming musical, please visit the GECO page.
Across the school, guest speakers also shared insights on topics ranging from nutrition to the legal stance on capital punishment. Thank you to the staff who organised these sessions and provided students with the opportunity to learn from industry professionals.
Well done to all students for embracing the week's opportunities with curiosity and enthusiasm.
Inter-School Chess Team Competition
We are excited to host the Inter-School Chess Team Competition on Monday, 11 August.
This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our Primary and Secondary chess teams, highlight the school’s facilities and welcome patrons from across the region.
We anticipate minimal disruption to traffic and parking, and appreciate your patience and understanding.
We look forward to welcoming all students and wish every team the best of luck.
