GRAMMAR EARLY LEARNING CENTRE

It was a very busy week here at the Centre with our community events.
We welcomed our Grandparents for a fun activity-packed afternoon on Wednesday, which included joining them in with our weekly music lesson with Miss Jordie.
On Thursday, a special visitor arrived: Recycleman! He told us all about the different coloured bins and what items can be recycled. Recycleman taught us that paper is his favourite thing to recycle, as paper is made from trees, and trees help make the air we breathe. When Recycleman stood up, all his papers fell out of his box onto our heads! We quickly went around to help him pick up all the papers. Recycleman told us that recycling paper will save lots of trees on the planet and, in doing so, will also help make lots of homes for the animals that live in the trees as well.
Meanwhile, Kindy have been using this cool weather to head out and explore the Rainforest area on Campus. They were thrilled to encounter Barry the Bush Turkey, especially after hearing a Bush Turkey story at the Library.
We are pleased to welcome Miss Jayley to the team. Please say hello if you see her around the Centre.
This week, we bid farewell to Miss Cassie and extend our heartfelt best wishes for her continued success in the future.
