Last week we enjoyed our annual Grandparents Day activities. The day commenced with an encouraging and uplifting Chapel Service. Rev Graham Cole, the PMSA advocate for Christian Ministry, spoke of the importance of not misunderstanding the heart of the Gospel message. This is that God is our loving Father who shepherds us towards him. Therefore, we need not worry and can come to him through Jesus, whether we are worried and burdened or feeling thankful. We also had a wonderful celebration Assembly where we heard about how Grandparents can keep us grounded and anchored to the important things in life in the same way that our School’s faith values do. It is wonderful to know that though we may stray on our faith journey, God is only ever a prayer away.

I am looking forward to long service leave during Term 3 and Mrs Caro Emslie, Mrs Belinda Modlin and Mrs Karen Maguire will do a great job in leading the Christian ministry at Grammar during my absence. All the best to you and your family for a relaxing mid-semester break.
