A heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible parents and extended family members who came along to cheer, support, and actively engage in the day. Your presence and the way you modelled respect for staff, students, and fellow spectators helped create a positive and inclusive environment for all.

Secondary
The recent secondary school athletics carnival was a resounding success, showcasing the talents and sportsmanship of both boys and girls across a variety of events. The day was filled with excitement and energy as students participated in a wide range of athletic competitions, including sprints, long-distance races, jumps, throws, and the highly anticipated age group relays.
The atmosphere was brilliant, with students cheering each other on irrespective of whether the athletes were in. It was pleasing to see the level of support and encouragement among peers, which undoubtedly contributed to some outstanding performances. Several students achieved personal bests, and the relays were a highlight, with teams demonstrating excellent teamwork. The Lawson 12-year-old girls beat all other 12-year-old girls and boys teams by 30m!
We extend our thanks to all the staff members, particularly the House Coordinators, who made this event possible, especially Mr Talbot and Tanya Hoffman. Their dedication and hard work in the lead-up to the carnival and on the day itself were key to ensuring everything ran smoothly. The senior house leaders also deserve a mention. Thank you to everyone.
Congratulations to this year's House Champions:
House Spirit - Bradman Bulldogs
Champion House – Sturt Leopards
Record - Congratulations to Mae C, who equalled the 15-year girls' high jump record of 1.60m!
Look out for our district team announcement, age champions will be presented next term.

All teams played an exciting brand of Water Polo, but my team in the finals went up against the Under 15 boys, who played the entire game down two players, yet still managed to nearly secure an upset win, narrowly going down by one goal.
