Foundation Day

2025 marks 29 years since the sod was first turned at Sunshine Coast Grammar School.

We invite parents of our Life Long Learners, past students and staff, and special friends to join us for our annual Foundation Day Assembly, followed by the running of the Grammar Gift.

We expect increased traffic on campus and have made additional parking available on-site. Please follow the directions of our grounds staff and arrive early.

We encourage our families and visitors to use on-site parking options instead of community parking off campus.

Parent Information Session with Susan McLean - Cyber Safety Expert

We are thrilled to announce that the parent information session with renowned cyber safety expert, Susan McLean, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 15 July. 

Susan is a leading Australian expert and is internationally renowned for her knowledge of all things cybersafety and young people. Her extensive qualifications and knowledge include a comprehensive understanding of the Law (Criminal and Civil).

Parents and carers are invited to attend Susan McLean's informative and empowering session, where she will discuss the challenges of growing up online. This FREE event is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights and is not to be missed.

Additionally, students from Years 5 - 12 will have the chance to hear from her on Tuesday during school hours. These sessions will provide important information and guidance on navigating the digital world safely.

Parent Orbit App Now Available

We’re pleased to announce the launch of Parent Orbit — a new mobile app designed to enhance communication between our School and your family. This app provides quick and convenient access to Parent Lounge and GECO, all from your mobile phone.

Please note:

  • Parent Orbit is designed for mobile devices only and is not a replacement for GECO.
  • Parent Orbit will replace the current app, which will be disabled later this year.
  • It acts as a shortcut to Parent Lounge, providing streamlined access on the go.
  • This app is available for both Apple and Android devices.
  • This is an early release and testing phase, so some features may still be in development. We appreciate your patience and welcome any feedback.
