FROM THE SCHOOL CHAPLAIN
Recently, we enjoyed our annual Primary Family Service in the Grammar Chapel. The Service was led by students with over 100 people in attendance. We were fortunate to hear some stunning musical items from the Dolce Choir. Thank you to Mr Eastwood and Ms Bradbury for your leadership, exemplifying where passion meets purpose.
Our theme was ‘The Power of the Holy Spirit.’ We heard how Superman is immensely strong, both in terms of muscle power and the ability to take physical punishment. However, unlike God, he is not all-powerful. God’s power is called omnipotence, meaning all-powerful, and that He has unlimited power. We focused on the power of our words, the power of sin and regret, the power of forgiveness and grace, and the power of prayer. It is so encouraging to know that we can have this same power by being filled with the Holy Spirit through Jesus.
