GRAMMAR HELPING HANDS NEWS

Disabled Surfing Sunshine Coast

Sun, sand and smiles were the flavour of the day on Sunday, with a large group of staff and students rolling up their sleeves to help our friends at Disabled Surfing Australia. We are privileged to be surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches, and we are honored to support our friends at Disabled Surfers Sunshine Coast to help provide opportunities for those with disabilities to experience the thrill of surfing. We are looking forward to supporting Disabled Surfing Australia at their next event.

Youturn Donut Day

Our annual Youturn Donut Day was a huge success and thanks to the generous contributions of our students and staff, we are proud to announce that we have raised $750 for our friends at Youturn!

Thank you to everyone for supporting this important initiative. Your generosity reaches far beyond our Grammar Gates, providing hope and support for young individuals to live healthy and meaningful lives.

We are honoured to continue our partnership with Youturn and thank their representative, Ruby, for attending and speaking with students.

Shout out to Kenilworth Country Bakery for supplying the tasty treats to help us raise funds and awareness.

Walk for Myeloma

Join us this Sunday, 30 March for Myeloma Australia's
 My Greatest Walk.

This grassroots campaign is driven by communities impacted by myeloma. It is a cause that has touched our hearts with the passing of our former Principal, Mrs Maria Woods. We are honoured to walk alongside our community to raise awareness for Myeloma.
If students wish to support and attend, please fill out the EdSmart forms, which have already been sent. Parents and carers are also welcome to attend; please register your attendance or donate directly with Myeloma Australia via this link.
Thank you to our Grammar Helping Hands service leadership team for their ongoing support. We look forward to walking with our community at Brightwater Park.
