Japanese Assistant Language Teacher
We are delighted to welcome Miss Honoka Takeuchi from Nagoya University of Foreign Studies to Grammar from 17 February - 5 March. Miss Takeuchi is currently studying to become an English teacher and has been undertaking studies at Griffith University for the past three weeks. As part of her training, she will now gain hands-on experience through Pre-Service training with Di Pietra and Sudoh Sensei. Miss Takeuchi’s visit provides a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage with a native Japanese speaker, enhancing their language skills and cultural understanding. We are confident our students will make the most of this invaluable experience!
Secondary Japan Club
It was fantastic to connect with so many students and families at the Grammar Life Expo last week! A big congratulations to Alissa C, Year 6, for successfully guessing the number of lolly snakes in the jar. This week also marked the launch of our Secondary Japan Club, and it was wonderful to see so many enthusiastic students join in. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back next week for more exciting Japanese-themed lunchtime activities – stay tuned for what’s in store!
