We had an incredible morning at our Open Day this week, as we welcomed prospective Grammar families to our campus.
We were proud to showcase our facilities, academic programs and co-curricular offerings that make our school one of the highly sought-after schools in the region. Our guests also heard from our Principal, Mrs Anna Owen, as well as an inspiring Q&A session with our students.
Thank you to the students who took part in the Q&A session and guided our guests on tours. Your enthusiasm, insight and kindness made a lasting impression, and we are incredibly proud of the way you represented Grammar.
Independent District Cross Country Carnival
On Tuesday, 98 Primary and Secondary students proudly represented Grammar at the annual Independent District Cross Country Carnival held at Beerwah State High School.
We are thrilled to announce that our Secondary team claimed first, while our Primary team secured second place overall!
While several individuals shone with outstanding performances, our success was built on a strong team effort, with every runner giving their all for the school. Leading the charge were our exceptional Cross Country Captains, Grace B & Jake H, whose leadership and encouragement played a pivotal role in motivating the team.
Congratulations to our Age Group Champions - 11 years boys, 12 years girls, 13 years boys, 15 years girls and 16 years boys.
Congratulations to the 16 Grammar students who have now qualified to represent the Independent District Regional Team at the Regional Cross Country Champions at Noosa next week.
Primary Regional Team Qualifiers: Ethan H, Ash W, Isabella P, Harvey H, Nellie P, Alice A.
Secondary Regional Team Qualifiers: Grace B, Hannah P, Quinn Mc, Eden L, Jaz E, Jack T, Will K, Jude B, Wes N, Oscar K.

Congratulations to all students for their outstanding performances. Thank you to our staff for their support, guidance and training efforts in the weeks leading up to the carnival.

Sorry Day Assembly
Today, our school community gathered to commemorate National Reconciliation Week, acknowledge the strength of First Nations Peoples, reflect on our Reconciliation Action Plan, and celebrate the appointment of our 2025 Indigenous Ambassador, Year 11 student Mahalia Karooz.
Mahalia delivered her inaugural speech, sharing her vision for strengthening connections between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities within our school. She also presented a commemorative plaque for the Wunya Garden to our Principal, Mrs Anna Owen.
We were honoured to hear from our special guest speaker, David Gooken Nanangi Peters, a proud Pititijanjara man. His speech resonated with students and staff and he concluded the event with a powerful didgeridoo performance.
Thank you to our community for sharing the morning with us. Read more about our Sorry Day Assembly on our website.
A reminder that the Large Ensemble Showcase is taking centre stage this afternoon from 4:00pm.
