As we headed into our second week of the school year, it was wonderful to see our students dive into all that Grammar has to offer. From the Grammar Life Expo, which showcased over 50 co-curricular offerings, to the excitement of our annual Twilight Swimming Carnival, the campus was alive with enthusiasm and excitement.

Yesterday, we also had the pleasure of welcoming prospective families to our campus for our first Open Day of the year. It is always an incredible morning to showcase our rainforest campus and the dynamic learning happening in our classrooms.
Thank you to all staff and students who were involved in the tour groups and warmly welcomed our guests. Our students were outstanding ambassadors for our school and we are proud to feature them during our Open Days throughout the year.

We were also honoured to welcome back our 2024 graduates at our annual Scholars Assembly this morning. Our alumni returned to be recognised for their outstanding academic achievements and it was heartwarming to witness the standing ovation for our 2024 Dux, James Luu.
Following the assembly, our Alumni celebrated with their classmates and family in the Rainforest Cafeteria. As ambassadors of Grammar, our Alumni continue to be invaluable assets to our school, both through their professional and personal successes.
Congratulations to all award recipients for their outstanding achievements. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you back through the gates as proud Grammar Alumni.
Secondary Swimming Carnival
The carnival will be held on Thursday 13 February. This is a regular school day and attendance is compulsory.
This carnival serves as a chance to have fun as a school community and build house spirit and culture through demonstrating a ‘we not me’ attitude. The four houses will fight it out for the House Champion Trophy determined by house points earned through both competitive races and novelty events. In addition, the House Spirit Trophy will be awarded.
For more information about the schedule and uniform requirements on the day, see the latest correspondence in GECO.
